Immediate response instructions
If your favourite iPad Air 2 comes in contact with water you have to respond quickly and follow the instructions below:
- Switch your device off
- Swipe your device clean with absorbent paper and wrap it around the device
- Do not try to dry your iPad Air 2 with a heating device, it may cause it to overheat

Troubleshooting
If your device gets wet then the response must be immediate, so as not to allow moisture to expand in the inside of your device. If this is allowed to happen, oxidising may be caused in your iPad. Oxidising is a chemical reaction that will corrode the metal parts of your device, even its motherboard.

The first step in dealing with a wet iPad Air 2 is to open the device and remove any water still inside the device. Then we place it in an ultrasound tub, to allow us access on an atomic level. Lastly, we will clean the inside parts of any remaining moisture and will run an operation test to see that everything works fine.
The repair cost will depend on how quickly did you manage to bring us you iPad Air 2. If your response was immediate then the only cost will be the cleaning operation. If any part was damaged in the process then the cost will scale proportionally. Because of this, you should visit an ired store as soon as possible for a wet iPad Air 2 repair.
